"Public Officials must respond to reporter's coverage with dignified and positive attitude"


A judgement came out which mean it is necessary for officials to confirm the given suspicions positively for securing supervisory functions of journalism about officials.

The Supreme Court announced lately that they judged accuser's losing a lawsuit about the affair that previous public prosecutor accused Mnuhwa Broadcasting Company and a reporter of libel. That prosecutor had insisted his reputation was libeled because of the one-sided report and the high court had judged compensation 0,000,000 earlier.

We say welcome to this judgement in terms of acknowledgement of the way that journalism should be.

This judgement acknowledge what officials evade confirmation of the fact despite faithful circumstances is evidently restriction on the freedom and fundamental responsibility of journalism which should report public items.

We estimate this judgement include the social substance that journalism have clearified the society and have to be like that way without interruption.
